Cloud auditing is a critical step in successfully migrating to the cloud. Organizations can develop a better understanding of what cloud services and deployment strategies will result in the most improvement for their business though cloud auditing.
ISACA® has introduced the Certificate in Cloud Auditing Knowledge (CCAK) in partnership with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a global leader in cloud security research, training and credentialing. The CCAK certificate fills a gap in the market for vendor-neutral, technical education designed to help IT audit, security and risk professionals understand unique cloud terminology, challenges and solutions. IT professionals who earn their CCAK will be better equipped to face the unique challenges of cloud auditing, ensuring that they have the right controls for confidentiality, integrity and accessibility while mitigating the risk and costs of audit management and noncompliance.
CCAK prepares IT professionals to:
- Understand cloud computing terminology, constitution and delivery methods
- Address critical challenges such as transparency, encryption, colocation, scale and scope
- Educate the audit committee effectively
- Address unique cloud auditing challenges such as technology stacks, deployment frameworks, DevOps, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), automation and governance
The CCAK exam will be available in spring 2021. To learn more and sign up to receive updates, visit the CCAK page of the ISACA website.
